The general consensus seems to be that it's best to learn one DAW, learn it well and then keep using it because this makes the gap between having ideas and getting them out smaller. I know some people use two DAWs, but the general consensus is that one make sense for most people. Webyou can usually do the most with daws that are not really that user friendly. and this is a lifetime hobby really.. the cheapest daws are trackers. i use openmpt, its free. i think its very user friendly, buts its been likened to making music through math, which i dont get, i hate math. love trackers. -1.
