It's also making a rattling noise which I RMA'd it for already, but they only fixed it temporarily, so I'm pretty done with this cooler. I am using a kit that was originally for a GTX 980. I have done this to a Titan X (maxwell) and now my 1080 Ti. This should work for GTX 980s on up if you have a reference cooler.
